Coronavirus rates are falling in 28 areas across England, latest figures show.
It comes after 16 other places, including West Yorkshire and Nottingham, were plunged into strict Tier 3 lockdowns.
In Thursday’s update of the rolling seven-day rate of new cases for every local authority area in England, figures are taken from the seven days to October 25.
The rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people.
