The first of millions of Australians eligible to receive the $250 Centrelink payment can expect money to begin hitting their bank accounts in the coming days.
The federal government announced the Economic Support Payments as part of the 2020-21 budget as a means of better supporting Australians hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
