2032 Olympic Games: Only two new venues could be built under ‘game changer’ plan to keep spending under control – Sydney Morning Herald
The IOC hasn’t ruled out having rowing and canoeing held in the harbour city under a plan that could result in just two new facilities being built in Queensland….
To that end, Brisbane fits the bill after it was named on Thursday morning (AEDT) the IOCs preferred bidder for the 2032 event.
We already have 85 per cent of the venues at the moment, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said. Its a new norm, which means its a game changer.
