The online portal was open from 6pm to midnight last night and has now closed.
The Instagram customers were guaranteed a car from the first shipment due to arrive in the first half of next year.
Hyundai Australia received 18 pre-orders for the first-generation Hyundai i20 N, even though price and specification are yet to be released.
