That’s what two-time Melbourne Cup winning trainer Rob Hickmott says about his Melbourne Cup hopeful Schabau which will be unleashed on a bumper spring mission at The Valley on Saturday.
Hickmott is well qualified to know what makes a Melbourne Cup winner – he worked with owner Lloyd Williams to prepare Green Moon and Almandin to win Melbourne Cups in 2012 and 2016 respectively.
