Tencent Esports announced at its annual event, the Tencent Global Esports Summit, the schedule of events for the 2020 League of Legends World Championship. Worlds 2020 will take place Sept. 25 – Oct. 31 in Shanghai, China, with the Summoner’s Cup Finals taking place at Pudong Soccer Stadium, which is tentatively set to open in September.
The schedule is as follows:
- Play-in Stage: Sept. 25 – 30
- Group Stage Round 1: Oct. 3 – 6
