There could be a small fortune tucked away in your old Pokemon cards.

A Pokémon card described by collectors as the Holy Grail has sold at auction for an eye-watering sum.
The shiny Charizard card on Friday sold to an anonymous bidder for more than AUD$300,000.
It was hosted on online bartering space Iconic Auctions – with a starting bid of US$40,000.
Seventeen bids later, it sold for a grand total of AU$305,099.61.
