Greater Geelong’s active coronavirus tally has dropped significantly overnight.
Despite the region recording 12 new cases in the last 24 hours, the region’s active tally has dropped by 33 to 118.
All surrounding regions have also reported drops in their active tallies, with Surf Coast falling by two to four, Colac Otway dropping by 21 to 15, and Golden Plains down by two to just the one case.
Nearby Wyndham has seen their active infections plummet by 267 to 544.
