Joint operation stops large haul of cocaine hitting our streets.
A Sydney man has been charged for allegedly importing 144 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated street value of $64.8 million.
Australian Border Force officers in Brisbane made the detection of drugs earlier this month, hidden inside hydraulic cylinders arriving from South Africa.
The detection was reported to the Australian Federal Police for investigation, which led to the arrest of the 45-year-old Sydney man.
