Drug history of Olympian and brother goes beyond sea cocaine plot

Nathan pleaded guilty to drug manufacturing and conspiracy charges after helping to produce 18,000 tablets of the psychedelic drug 2C-B and trying to produce 100 grams of methamphetamine.

Dru pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture drugs, and aiding and abetting for his involvement from his jail cell.

The pair testified that they did not know the drug in the pills, 2C-B, was illegal. The drug had not been criminalised when the plan to produce it was formed.

They were both handed sentences of imprisonment with a non-parole period of two years and three months on that occasion.

For their latest convictions, the Baggaley brothers will return to Brisbane’s Supreme Court during the week beginning April…
